I have a pink WOC and luckily the color transfer from a sweater I was wearing came of with Cadillac leather lotion, now I only use it if I am certain what I am wearing will be ok. After that, black, navy, red are my bag colors. I have a white Chanel in a black dust bag & haven’t had any issues. I have a white WOC and the only color transfer has come from my dark clothes, jeans particularly. Help! I just bought a white trendy cc bag (caviar leather) but I was given a black dust bag with it.
Using a clean white microfiber cloth, wet one quarter of the rag with the Oxy solution. Squeeze out all the water. You want a damp cloth. Do not soak your handbag. Gently blot the dye transfer area with the damp cloth. You should see the hot pink transfer onto the white rag. Be gentle and don’t rush it. More is not better. I have a Chanel CF in beige Clair and I wear it with dark jeans, and I have never experienced a colour transfer to my bag. You can spray a leather protector on the bag if you are unsure of colour transfer happening. The colour of your woc is lovely. I've been doing a lot of reading and it seems several people have sprayed Collonil Carbon Pro on their bags to prevent color transfer. Curious if anyone has had negative experience with this product. I have used this in all of my leather bags (even shoes), including Chanel and never had any issues. But if you feel really brave you could try some very mild soap on a slightly damp cloth (not wet!) and see if it helps. Definitely avoid getting the bag wet and don’t use any alcohol based products.
