I purchased this year a lovely omega seamaster 300m, (212.30.41.20.03.001) . I have a scratch on both my 2254.50 and 2531.80 Seamasters crystals ironically near the same place close to the date. Does anyone happen to know if the AR coating is on the inside or out on the Seamaster crystal? Any possibility of using diamond paste to .

The point of sapphire is to have a crystal so hard that it won't get scratched, but then Omega defeats that purpose by putting AR on the outside of the crystal that pretty easily gets scratched. My AD in New Jersey reached out to Omega and they were kind enough to give me a new replacement. This came as a surprise, because I have read about this issue happening throughout this forum and it seems like paying for a crystal replacement is .
