When I make it sit that way, the clasp is off center on the bottom of my wrist: The white markings indicate the start and end of the clasp. So I am wondering if removing a link on the 6 o clock side to center the clasp a bit, will help the watch case stay in . Is your 5mm extension link under the clasp seating firmly? It swivels to shorten or lengthen the bracelet a little bit depending on how your wrist swells...you can select either position but it must be seated firmly into the back of the clasp. I noticed today the closing spring on my newly purchased clasp is loose and rotating in place. Is this normal? I can’t upload a video but here are some pics, basically I can move the spring around its post freely. Thank you.
I went to put on my 116619 which I have had for about 10 years and the clasp will not latch. Its as if the two hinged parts with the Rolex stamp do not sit inside each other. They are not flush inside the clasp which sticks out and pushes against my wrist. I . Sometimes bending the clasp itself helps. the two curved plates nestle, it one gets bent it may not be obvious but they won't engage properly. I.e. looking at the picture posted if the left side gets bent (curved in or out) it won't stay closed with the right side / vice-versa.

The diver extension was out of adjustment and wouldn't lock in place, which kept the clasp from closing properly.
