Speedmaster pusher sticking out too far?

It seems like the Chrono reset pusher is sticking out farther than the start stop one. It’s very slight, and the chronograph works just fine. Is this something I should go out of my way to fix immediately, or should I just stop by the omega boutique in NY next time I’m in the area? To replace either part of the pusher you need to open the case and take out the movement. Although not difficult, the potential for disaster is high. So unless you are experienced in watch repairs, then i would not attempt it yourself.

This happened to my Speedmaster Mark II about nine months after it was purchased (new) from a gray market seller on Chrono24 with box, papers and a genuine Omega warrantee. I took the watch and pusher and the warrantee card to my local AD where I have purchased other Omegas. They handled everything - including shipping it out for a fix and complete service. Pickes it back up at the same store 4 weeks later and paid absolutely nothing. If it wasn't a limited/numbered edition, pretty sure they'd just replace the watch.

Recently, the pusher got stuck (just once), and now I can see where the issue occurred. This doesn't seem like normal wear and tear, right? I've owned the Speedmaster since May 2022.

I’m thinking of getting a speedmaster for my son for his 21st birthday, but have read online that many people have faced problems with their pusher falling off, or not working properly. Just wanted to get a consensus on whether this is a common problem with all speedmasters My start/stop pusher actuates at approx 4lbs of force, and the reset pusher at near 3.25 lbs. Both actuate with what I would describe by a clean 'snap'. Edit: I should add that the tested Speedmaster is a 145.022-74. But I don't see why a modern one should be any different.

I bought my Speedmaster automatic new sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Can't remember exactly, but the serial # marks it as a 1991. Omega refers to the "caliber" and "reference number". I'm trying to ID those, mainly for repair. The caseback has 175 0032 AND 175 0033 marked on the inside.

Working on my Omega Speedmaster pro 145.022. The pusher splines measure an outside diamter of 3.6mm. I want to get the best fitting tool for unscrewing and replacing the spline tube.

Our Answers To The Most Common Omega Speedmaster Questions. We’ve covered the iconic Speedmaster every (Speedy) Tuesday since 2012. But Fratello goes back to July 2004, and between then and 2012, the Speedmaster was a recurring topic as well.
